Quai 54 • 2024 Street basketball tournament
2024 marks the 21st edition of the Quai 54 World Streetball Championship held annually in Paris. Due to outdoor sports venues being reserved for the Olympics the event was held indoors for the first time.
As one of the world’s leading streetball events, Quai 54 continues to be a key moment in Paris’ sporting and youth culture calendar. Each year I work with the event’s creative director and co-founder Thibaut de Longeville to create a new visual story to celebrate the tournament.
The 2024 identity showcases a “back to basics” approach revolving around a custom icon set and minimalist color palette. A new typeface for the Quai 54 brand was also introduced: Serial by Superior Type.
This design story was applied across the promotional campaign, event design and product collaboration with Jordan Brand.
