laContrie is a luxury made-to-order leathergoods workshop founded by Edwina de Charette.
To reflect laContrie’s product design philosophy, classic typographic elements were given a contemporary twist. The wordmark is a custom drawn hairline serif typeface. This is paired with a unique cut of Futura with short ascenders and capitals. The brand color palette is voluntarily subdued to highlight the bright product photography. Pencil illustrations of leatherworking tools underline laContrie’s focus on handmade craftsmanship.
